If Children Learn To Live The Commandments They Will Be Happy

At the Special Olympics several of the children were in a race. The gun went off they and each started running. Before long, one of the little girl's fell down. When the other children saw that she had fallen, they turned around and ran back to her. They all helped her up and held hands and ran across the finish line, together.

In another race, the gun went off all and the children started to run. When one of the boys got to the finish line, he stopped and let his friend Johnny pass him and win the race. When they asked him why he did that, he said: “I already have a metal but Johnny doesn’t and he needs a metal too, so I let him go first!

How were these children like Jesus? They were kind. They were thoughtful. They thought of the other person before they thought of themselves. They were loving. They were giving. They were like Jesus!

We all need to be like Jesus. Do you think these children were happy when the other person won? Yes they were. Why? They had love in their hearts for the their friends.

These young people lived the most important commandment Jesus taught us. What is the first and most important commandment? 1. We must Love the Lord our God and love our neighbors as ourselves. We are taught to love others.!!!! Why is loving others the most important commandment? Because Jesus said that we must love others, and we want to obey him?

Why do you think he told us we should love others? Because when we love others we are happy and so are they. What does serving others mean? It means to do kind things for others, help them. and care for them.

How can we live this greatest commandment in our lives? We can love others. We can be obedient. We can be kind. We can look out for others We can do secret acts of kindness. They are only secret to the one that we do the kindness too, because God sees everything you do and it makes God happy. Doing good to others also makes us better, and happier people. You can never be kind to someone else without finding happiness yourself.
